Annotation: This article examines the ethnographic and historical dimensions of customs and rituals associated with agriculture, animal husbandry, handicrafts, and hunting among the population of the Ko‘hitangtog‘ mountainous region. Particular attention is paid to traditions reflecting people’s relationship with nature, practices aimed at ensuring productivity, invoking rain, protecting against natural disasters, and showing respect for the activities of various professional groups. The study also highlights the connection of these rituals with ancient beliefs and traces the process of their preservation and transformation up to the present day.
