Annotation: The article examines the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the formation and enhancement of ecological competencies among students. The author analyzes contemporary approaches to environmental education, highlighting key psychological and pedagogical methods and technologies that contribute to the development of ecological awareness and responsibility. Special attention is given to the integration of ecological knowledge into the educational process, as well as the importance of an interdisciplinary approach. As a result of the research, recommendations are offered for educators and educational institutions on the implementation of practices aimed at improving students' ecological competence.
