Annotation: The great interest of philosophers, shown by them to the questions of man, contributed to the creation of a new direction in philosophy – philosophical anthropology, although the idea of separating anthropological research from philosophy was already expressed by Kant. This article reveals the features of the anthropological views of one of the founders of philosophical anthropology Arnold Gehlen.
