Annotation: This article examines the effective organization of the repair process of railway lifting and handling machines. Methods of diagnosing technical conditions, identifying the causes of failures, and their elimination are studied. The main stages of repair — diagnostics, disassembly, defect detection, component restoration, assembly, and testing — are consistently analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on the modernization of technological processes, safety assurance, and compliance with environmental standards, which contribute to increasing the reliability and extending the service life of the machines.
