Annotation: This article analyzes the issue of arrest and confiscation of property obtained during the commission of a crime related to the laundering of proceeds from crime, taking into account the current legislation and the opinions of scientists. The article also analyzes the problems arising in the practice of arrest and confiscation, analyzes statistical data and develops proposals for improving criminal procedural legislation. In addition, the article examines the experience of foreign countries and analyzes the issues of its implementation in national legislation.
